Beamzy, by SolveFlow Labs, is an offline file-sharing app that sends photos, videos, music, files and apps directly between phones over a direct Wi-Fi link.
Our mission
SolveFlow Labs pledges half of the profit the app earns from ads to children's hospitals — helping kids in burn units, cancer wards, and cardiac care. 💛
The short version
Your files move directly between phones over a local Wi-Fi link and never touch a server — Beamzy has no accounts and no servers of its own. The app is free and shows ads (Google AdMob).
What the app accesses
- Photos, videos & music — so you can browse and choose what to send. Read only on your device, never uploaded.
- Camera — to scan the sender's QR code.
- Nearby devices / Wi-Fi — to create or join the direct Wi-Fi link.
- Notifications — to show transfer progress.
Ads
Beamzy is supported by ads from Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use your device's advertising ID and limited app-interaction data, under Google's own policies. Beamzy itself has no servers and receives none of your files or personal data. Ads are shown only when your device has an internet connection and never interrupt a transfer.
Data storage
Received files are saved to your Download/Beamzy folder. The app keeps a small local history of your transfers; it stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Children
Beamzy is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
